Calling all social media mavericks and young event enthusiasts!
Do you love spreading the word about a good cause and helping out with exciting events? Want to gain valuable experience, network with professionals, and make a real difference in your community?

The Leukemia Research Foundation needs YOU!

We’re looking for passionate young adults to join our team and help us plan and promote the 30th anniversary of the ABC7 Gibbons 5K Run & 3K Walk this June. This inspiring event raises critical funds for leukemia research and patient support programs.

Here’s what you’ll do:
Become a social media pro: Help us craft engaging content and spread the word about the ABC7 Gibbons Run on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Embrace your creativity: Use your Canva skills to design eye-catching graphics and flyers for the event.
Assist with event planning: Be part of the team that brainstorms ideas, handles logistics, and ensures the event’s success.
Contribute to future events: Get involved in planning additional fundraising activities throughout the year.
Flexible hours: You can tailor your involvement to your schedule.
Gain valuable experience: Learn about event management, social media marketing, and non-profit work.
Make a difference: Play a key role in raising awareness and funds for a crucial cause.
Passion for social media and using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus.
Photography skills would be an asset, too.
Enthusiasm for working on a team and making a positive impact.
This is an unpaid volunteer position.
