ViewRainbows for All Children is dedicated to guiding youth through the storms of life. Rainbow fosters awareness that youth require support to heal from adverse childhood experiences.
ViewWe are the North Shore’s premier provider of fresh, nutritious meals to homebound older adults and others unable to prepare their own food at home. Our mission is to help eradicate hunger and social isolation in the communities we serve.
ViewEquestrian Connection has grown to become one of the largest, most unique equine therapy programs in the nation dedicated to servicing children and adults with disabilities.
ViewFounded in 2003, we bring teams of trained literacy volunteers and certified reading-assistance dogs into the classroom to tackle the serious issue of childhood literacy.
ViewHorsefeathers Therapeutic Riding is an equine program dedicated to using horses and ponies to improve the quality of life for children and adults with special needs. We serve a diverse range of riders with varying degrees of physical ability, and offer one-on-one instruction and therapy in a calm and supportive environment. Additionally, Horsefeathers offers coaching and support to our Special Olympics Equestrian Team.
ViewOur mission remains constant: To take responsibility for each and every stray, abandoned, abused and neglected dog and cat which reaches our door. To take them in and shelter them. To provide the best medical and physical care possible. To nurture them back to health if need be. And finally, to place them into warm and loving adoptive homes where they can enjoy the life they deserve.
ViewThe mission of the Winnetka Community House is to enrich the lives of North Shore residents, their families, and friends by providing educational, cultural, social, and recreational opportunities for people of all ages. This privately supported unique facility does not receive tax dollars. Educational, cultural, social, recreational activities for people of all ages on the North Shore.
