The Volunteer Center’s 2024 Annual Recognition Event

An Inspiring Tribute to Community Leader

Barb Tubekis

A lively crowd came gathered on May 2nd at the Wilmette Harbor Club for a special tribute to Barb’s leadership, her many contributions to our community, and her undying spirit of volunteerism. It was a special evening in honor of a truly inspiring person. Thanks, Barb, for making such a difference for the past 30 years — and for leaving the VC in such great shape and good hands under new Executive director Bridget Lewis’ leadership.
