Emerge Winnetka music festival

You may have heard about the Emerge Winnetka music festival, which will be held at the Skokie Playfields (north end, on the baseball fields) from 2 – 10:30pm on Saturday, September 11.
Go Green Winnetka is looking for volunteers to help make this a Zero Waste event. We will help sort landfill, recycling, and organic/food scrap items to reduce as much as possible what gets landfilled.
We specifically are looking for volunteers during the following times:
Sat. Sept. 11
1:30 – 7:30pm (with more needed in the 4:30 – 7:30 timeframe)
Sun. Sept. 11
9am – 12pm or so (until sorting is done)
If you can help out with volunteering during any of these times, please let me know. We can be flexible creating shifts that work for you. Regardless of when you work, you’ll have free access to the music festival the rest of the time!
