Our mission remains constant:  To take responsibility for each and every stray, abandoned, abused and neglected dog and cat which reaches our door.  To take them in and shelter them.  To provide the best medical and physical care possible.  To nurture them back to health if need be.  And finally, to place them into warm and loving adoptive homes where they can enjoy the life they deserve.

Erikas Lighthouse

Our mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.” We also seek to provide a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.
