About this Opportunity

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association at Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association.

Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) will host its Second Annual Wheelchair Basketball Tournament, the Timmy G. Classic, in memoriam of one of GLASA\’s longtime wheelchair basketball athletes. Tim was a GLASA athlete from 2009 to 2018, with a presence on the court that will never be forgotten. His passion and never-give-up attitude made a difference to those around him. The tournament will be held at St. Viator Highschool November 19-20th, with games starting at 8am. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help in a variety of volunteer positions. Volunteers will be needed to assist with set-up, check in teams, man the scoring table for each game (shot clock, score, book), sell raffle tickets, sell concessions and clean up at the end of each day.

Location: St. Viator High School (1213 E Oakton St, Arlington Heights, IL 60004) Please feel free to sign up for more than one volunteer position (as long as they don\’t overlap)! If you have difficulty signing up or have any other questions, please feel free to contact Emily Higgins at volunteer@glasa.org or (847) 989-7743. SIGN UP HERE: https://linktr.ee/VolunteerForGLASA
