SOAR’s goal is recruitment and training of adult volunteer-mentors and is focused on creating effective mentors who grow to become leaders and resource-builders in the lives of Evanston youth.

ViewMeals at Home provides Meals on Wheels services in Chicago’s North Shore communities of Evanston, Skokie, Wilmette-Kenilworth, Winnetka-Northfield, and Glenview as well as the Lake County communities of North Chicago, Waukegan, Zion, and Winthrop Harbor. We need drivers who can pick up prepared meals and deliver them to elderly and shut-in clients daily.
ViewSearch provides high-quality, person-centered services including supported living arrangements, adult learning programs and career services, as well as medical, behavioral, therapeutic and home-based services. Our programs, which include No Boundaries and JJ’s List, serve more than 600 people and their families annually at locations throughout the Chicagoland area.
ViewTen Thousand Villages-Evanston, is a Fair Trade retailer of artisan-crafted home decor, personal accessories and gift items from across the globe. We feature products from more than 130 artisan groups in 38 countries. We seek to establish long-term buying relationships in places where skilled artisans are under- or unemployed, and in which they lack other opportunities for income.
