About Boy Scouts of America Northeast Illinois Council

The mission of the Northeast Illinois Council Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The purpose of the Scouting program is to build character, to train in the responsibilities of citizenship, and to develop personal and mental fitness among boys ages 7-20 and girls ages 14-20.
