Counseling Center of the North Shore was formerly known as Family Service of Winnetka-Northfield

Enriching Lives through Counseling and Psychotherapy

We provide relief for individuals and families struggling with feelings of isolation, confusion, stress, depression, anxiety and conflict by offering a safe and nurturing environment where they can address life’s challenges and resolve painful issues.

We encourage individuals and families to find their potential through helping them discern and reach their goals and aspirations.

We provide educational programs that enrich community life and serve as a resource for local organizations who seek to respond to societal changes as they affect the lives of those we serve.

We serve individuals and families who live, work, study or worship in Winnetka and Northfield.

Winnetka Thrift Shop

To help fund the services we offer, the Winnetka Thrift Shop provides income for the agency. Volunteers are utilized as cashiers and through the years have significantly contributed to the success of our organization.  The Thrift Shop is located at 992 1/2 Green Bay Road in Hubbard Woods.

Volunteers are always needed and welcome in the Thrift Shop, to help sort, stock shelves, and greet customers.  To learn more about volunteering with the Thrift Shop, contact Jennifer Eichen at je@ccns.org
