Learning Bridge Early Education Center

About Learning Bridge Early Education Center

Learning Bridge Early Education Center is a community based organization whose mission is to strengthen families by providing high quality, affordable care and education for their children. Our highest priority is to help children from all socioeconomic backgrounds gain the skills they need to succeed in school while fostering the shared community values of cooperation and respect.

Learning Bridge changed its name from Child Care Center of Evanston in 2017. While we serve the same families and our mission is the same we wanted a name that reflects more of what we do. We prepare children for kindergarten, focusing on expansive learning and early intervention.
We have many enrichment programs here at the Center from a police reading program to visiting the Art Institute after a year of studying works of art.
We screen children so we can create individualized lesson plans and share children’s strengths with parents.

Seeking Board Members

We are a 77 year old not for profit early learning center. We have a Board of 16 to 20 critical friends, many have been with us for many years.

Our term limit is three years and we have Board meetings every other month with important committee work in between.

Our Board has lots of decisions to make as we look to the next 77 years so we remain vital and fulling our mission, strengthening families as we provide affordable child care and education for their children.

If you are interested in a Board position or a shorter committee commitment please contact Lindsay Percival at percivall@lbeec.org

I look forward to talking to you.
