About North Shore Art League

North Shore Art League logo

The North Shore Art League’s mission is to enrich the human spirit and lives of its community through art education and exhibitions.

Founded in 1924, the NSAL offers classes in its historic studio and its premier printmaking space on the second floor of the Winnetka Community House. Each year, the NSAL’s artist faculty, Board of Directors, Executive Director and staff work to keep true to our mission. We offer the community many varied arts experiences by instructing more than 1,000 students annually; conducting workshops, tours and special programs; awarding high school scholarships; curating and hosting several annual gallery exhibitions; sponsoring Art on the Village fine arts show in Hubbard Woods Park in June; and hosting our annual Members Art Show in September.
