Youth Services

About Youth Services

Youth Services is the place for families to turn to for mental health services for children and adolescents in all of the northern suburbs.  We offer individual and group therapy to youth dealing with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, bullying and bi-polar disorder.

Support from our donors and volunteers is essential for Youth Services to continue to deliver programs and continue growing with the needs of the community.

Clinically, we provide Counseling (group and individual), Crisis intervention (we work with many local high schools for risk assessments), Psychiatric Evaluations, and a Study Buddies program (tutoring).

Tutors for our Study Buddies Program

The Study Buddies Program is a free academic-support program designed to help children in grades 1st – 8th with their homework. The children meet twice a week during the school year on Monday’s and Wednesday’s evenings. A child is paired with a Study Buddy, who is a generous volunteer student from a local high school or adult from the community. It’s a wonderful way to mentor a child.

Youth Services is in need of volunteers to tutor on Monday and/or Wednesday evening at our center in Glenview from 6:30pm-8:00pm.
