Beacon Place: Academic Enrichment and Tutoring Programs

About this Opportunity

During the school year students need extra support to do well in school. Teen and adult volunteers are needed after school until 5:30 Monday through Thursday and Saturday mornings 8:30 until 12:00pm. This program helps improves students’ skills in not only math, reading and writing, but also to gives students a fun place to learn by doing engaging activities! It is such a rewarding way to volunteer. Simple training is required and is provided on an on-going basis. No minimum commitment is required but regular participation is encouraged for the students to get to know the tutors. Want more details about our programming and volunteer opportunities?
