About this Opportunity

The Highland Park Public Library is looking for volunteers to assist in processing patron holds. Volunteers participating in this activity will be responsible for calling patrons to let them know that their holds are available, preparing and shelving holds by name.

Current openings include:

Mondays: 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Tuesdays: 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Thursdays: 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM

Saturdays: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM

Volunteers must be 18 years old or older. Volunteers must be able to bend, reach, crouch, kneel and push carts loaded with books. Volunteer must also pass a filing test prior to participating in this volunteer activity.
