About this Opportunity
Argentium Care volunteers lead a monthly drop-in technology class for older adults at the Evanston Public Library (Main Library, 1703 Orrington Ave.) Volunteers are needed to assist adults in the class from 11:00am-1:00pm, on the third Thursday of the month. There are usually up to 25 people seeking assistance with tech support for their cell phones (Apple and Android), tablets, laptops (Apple and PC), and other tech devices. We currently have a long-time volunteer lead, who supports the other volunteers. This is a great opportunity for undergrad and grad students, recent retirees, and anyone with excellent tech skills to help out their community two hours a month.
