Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Volunteer Greeters at Wagner Farm.
The Wagner Farm Museum, The Heritage Center re-opened on 8/11/20 after being closed for 5 months due to COVID-19.
Due to COVID-19, additional safety procedures have been put in place in the museum. There are no longer any hands on exhibits. Visitor may view historical items and read about farming in the 1920’s.
We are looking for volunteer greeters to monitor the museum to help guests adhere to the new safety procedures.
Guests are asked to sign in upon arrival and sign out at departure. They are also asked to wear a face mask when in the museum. Guests are asked not to touch any of the exhibits as well. The greeters are responsible for informing guests about the safety procedures and reminding guests to adhere to these procedures when needed.
We will have a staff person at the front desk to answer the phone, help customers in the gift shop, answer questions and also to help reinforce the safety procedures. Front desk staff regularly sanitize the museum space and the restrooms as well.
If you’re interested in helping out, shifts will be Tuesday through Sunday. There are 2 shifts: 10am-12:30pm and 12:30-3pm.
