About Argentium Care
The mission of Argentium Care is to support the efforts of older adults to remain in their homes: we make living easier.
Over 40 years ago we saw a need, and so began our journey, to support the adults in our communities. We founded a non-profit to focus on delivering the highest level of service and support. We achieve this with our two core programs:
Argentium Home Care, licensed through the IL. Dept. of Public Health
Argentium Senior Connections a volunteer friendly visitor program
Argentium Care depends on volunteers to assist with many programs. We offer a variety of opportunities including working in our friendly Evanston office, supporting and/or facilitating workshops, helping to plan or manage events and our premier volunteer program, Senior Connections. Argentium Senior Connections volunteers make a difference in the life of an older adult through weekly visits. Volunteers and their older adult may sit and talk, play cards, go for a walk or even go out to eat or shop. Volunteers come from around the globe and from all lifestyles including college students, families with young children who want to “adopt” a grandparent, working career professionals, empty nesters and retired folk.
