About CCIS
CCIS is dedicated to making Northwestern University’s international community feel welcome in this country, community and at the University by providing a cross-cultural exchange of ideas information and friendship through a variety of social and supportive programs.
Since 1971, CCIS has been an all volunteer organization that provides programs for international undergraduates, graduate students and post doctoral scholars -- and often their spouses and children. Programs include:
Foster Relative2-3 day Home Stay when a student first arrives in EvanstonOne-on-one English Conversation Partners for StudentsEnglish Conversation Classes for SpousesCooking Club for SpousesInternational Women's GroupParent and Child PlaygroupFall Reception and Spring Picnic.
