  Clearbrook is committed to being a leader in creating innovative opportunities, services and support for people with disabilities. Clearbrook is a human service agency serving families with young children who have developmental delays.  We provide: assistance as they enter the State’s early intervention system; a semi-monthly afternoon “drop-off” program for both young special needs and young typically-developing children that parents can trust; a four hour break each week from their parenting responsibilities; early intervention services; therapy services; an array of services and supports to enhance the development of children with special needs. A human service agency providing developmentally disabled adults with day programs that promote skills of daily living, opportunities for socialization and community-based recreation, and opportunities for employment, while recognizing the grace of persons as they age. A human service agency that offers an array of residential options with supervision, services and supports commensurate with the needs of the individual served. A human service agency that supports families by providing individualized support to children and adults with developmental disabilities in the family home and within their communities. Where is the agency? Clearbrook’s administrative office is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Clearbrook operates day programs in Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, Palatine, and North Chicago, (Lake County) and residential programs in Arlington Heights, Buffalo, Grove Elk Grove Village, Gurnee, Hanover Park, Hoffman Estates, Mt. Prospect, Palatine, Rolling Meadows, and Schaumburg. Clearbrook’s respite services, the only program of its type, are provided to Suburban Cook and Lake county families with young children birth to four, four hours per week, in the family home, by trained volunteers. A “drop-off” program offered two afternoons per month occurs in Rolling Meadows. Clearbrook’s in-home services, the largest such program in the State, are provided to families and their children (ages three through adulthood) in family homes in Suburban Cook, Southeastern Cook, Chicago Cook, Lake, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and McHenry counties.
