About Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association
  Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA) strives to ‘Let No One Sit on the Sidelines’ and operates under a mission to promote and support the optimal development and well-being of youth, adults and military veterans who have a physical or visual disability through the provision of inclusive recreation, fitness and competitive sports activities. GLASA offers opportunities for empowerment through education, leadership and training in collaboration with community-based organizations. The Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association, GLASA, provides year-round adaptive sports, clinics, camps, and special events for youth, adults and veterans who have a primary physical or visual impairment. GLASA enhances quality of life by removing barriers, raising expectations, setting goals and achieving success! GLASA programs include, but are not limited to: Air Rifle, Archery, Tennis, Track & Field, Power Soccer, Golf, Swimming, Hand-cycling, Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Football, Sled Ice Hockey, Kayaking, Goalball for the Visually Impaired, Water Skiing, Yoga and much more.
