About Rotary Club of Winnetka NorthfieldThe mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. One of 32,000 clubs worldwide, the Winnetka-Northfield Rotary Club meets weekly from 12:15 to 1:30pm for lunch at the Winnetka Community House. Most recently, this Rotary Club distributes monetary contributions annually through its Community Grants Awards programs, mobilizes 400+ community volunteers to pack 100,000+ meals in a one-day packing even through Kids Against Hunger, provides warm winter coats to children in need through Operation Warm, raises funds to support returning veterans suffering from PTSD, sponsors high schoolers for year-long study abroad through the Rotary Youth Exchange program, graduate level studies in the Ambassadorial Scholars program, supports young professional exchanges, etc. The Winnetka-Northfield Rotary Club is also a annual contributor to Rotary's 25+ year effort to eradicate polio.
