The Make It Better Foundation provided hundreds of handmade or newly purchased blankets, coats, hats, gloves and scarves to more than 1,000 men, women and children in need of warmth during the 7th Annual Warming Hearts and Hands program during the December 2015 holidays. Thanks to all of the Volunteers who helped pack over 100,000 meals at Kids Against Hunger
Volunteers of all ages helped The Volunteer Center, The Rotary Club of Winnetka-Northfield, the Winnetka Community House and other local community groups pack over 100,000 nutritious meals for starving people in our community and Nicaragua. Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped us achieve our goal!

If you’re looking for volunteers or interns, our annual Volunteer and Internship Fair is a great way to connect with volunteers looking for ways to make a difference. This event usually takes place in April, and is a great opportunity to recruit high school and college students, and young adults for the summer or the year.
