Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Sleds Are Coming GLASA Falcons Sled Hockey Exhibition Game at Lake Forest College! Just as in ice hockey, sled hockey is played with six players (including a goalie) at a time. Sled hockey follows most of the typical ice hockey rules with the exception some of the equipment. Players propel themselves on their sledge (specially designed sleds that sit on top of two hockey skate blades) by use of spikes on the ends of two three-foot-long sticks, enabling a player to push himself as well as shoot and pass ambidextrously. Rinks and goals are regulation Olympic-size, and games consist of three 15-minute stop-time periods.

Location: Lake Forest College Sports and Recreation Center (S Campus, Lake Forest, IL 60045) The game wil be held February 5th, 2023, and the game will be from 2-3:30pm
