Provide Groceries for Low-Income and Homeless Families at Our Annual “Share Your Bounty” This Thanksgiving

The Volunteer Center is once again looking for volunteers to provide holiday groceries to families and individuals in need at Good News Partners (GNP) this Thanksgiving. Any individual, family or group looking for a way to safely help during this particularly challenging time is invited to fill either a cloth or double bagged paper bag — or small box — with all of the items in the list below, then drop it off between 10am and noon on Thanksgiving morning to 1600 W. Jonquil, Chicago (Rogers Park area off of Howard). Read on for more details.

The Volunteer Center has so much to be grateful for.
Our annual Make A Difference collection drop off will be held Saturday, October 26, 9am - noon, at the Indian Hill Train Station Parking Lot in Winnetka - corner of Green Bay Road and Winnetka Avenue.
Volunteer opportunities for all ages and abilities is a core value of the Volunteer Center mission.
It's been a great summer for the Volunteer Center and we're ready to hit the ground running this Fall with tabling events at the Wilmette Farmers Market on August 24th, the Christ Church Rummage Sale on October 3.
The Volunteer Center is grateful to receive a Better Grant based on a “You Said It” essay that Executive Director Bridget Lewis submitted to Better Magazine.
